NDS facilitator among four held in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The security forces have on Friday foiled a major terror plot by apprehending at least three terrorists and a facilitator of the Afghan Intelligence Agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) during operations in Karak and Sangan area of the Balochistan.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Frontier Corps and intelligence agencies conducted an operation in Sangan and rounded up a facilitator of the Afghan Intelligence Agency NDS.

The security forces have also recovered weapons, explosive material and communication equipment from the arrested men.

On the other hand, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out an intelligence-based operation in Karak and detained three terrorists of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The arrested terrorists were identified as Umer, Siddique and Afzal Haq. Weapons, hand grenades, prima cards, ball-bearings, detonators and explosive material was also recovered from the arrested men.
