New Sindh CM to be elected today

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh Assembly members will on Friday (today) elect a new Sindh Chief Minister.

Pakistan People’s Party’s Syed Murad Ali Shah and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Khurrum Sher Zaman Khan are contesting for the top position, while the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) decided to stay away from the election.

The PML-F and PML-N and two other smaller opposition parties in the house are yet to announce their support for the candidate.
