New Year Festivities: Women, children among 17 injured in aerial firing in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – At least 17 people including women and children were injured during aerial firing, while 10 people were arrested for creating uproar on the occasion of New Year festivities in Karachi.

As soon as the midnight approached, the entire city was echoed with aerial firing including Sea View, Defense, Korangi Road, II Chandrigar Road, Ranchor Line, Goli Mar, Lines Area, PIB Colony, Saddar, Gulistan-e-Johar, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Gulberg, Orangi and Banaras Colony, resultantly 17 people including two women and two children sustained bullet injuries.

The injured people were shifted to nearby hospital for medical assistance.


On the other hand, following the uproar of youngsters in North Nazimabad Five Star Chorangi, police have detained at least 10 people.
