No clue to missing son of SHC Chief Justice Owais Sajjad Ali
KARACHI (92 News) – There is no clue to the son of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Owais Sajjad Ali who went missing on Monday night.
The Rangers have conducted raids and arrested several people from different areas.
The law enforcement agencies have announced Rs 2.5 million for a person providing information about Owais Sajjad.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah presided over a high-level meeting. Later, he met SHC Chief Justice and assured him of immediate recovery of his son.
Sources close to Justice Sajjad Ali Shah ruled out possibility of kidnap for ransom. They said that the agencies had not informed the chief justice about progress in the case.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri has directed the police to assist the police in the recovery of the abductee. The Sindh IGP has directed stringent checking at all entry and exit points of the province.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his concern over the kidnap of Owais Sajjad. He was also briefed about efforts being made for the recovery of the abductee.
The prime minister also directed the departments concerned to expedite efforts for the recovery of Owais Sajjad.
PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari phoned Sindh Home Minister Sohail Sial and directed him to recover the abductee safely.
