No need for army during Muharram, says Nisar Khuhro

KARACHI (92 News) – Senior Provincial Minister for Information Nisar Khuhro has on Friday said that the there was no need to call army to maintain law and order in the province during Muharram.

In a statement Nisar Khuhro said that best security arrangements have been finalized for the month of Muharram, adding that the civil government, police and Rangers are present to main law and order in the province.

He further rejected the allegations of suspending local government elections and said that the PPP doesn’t want to suspend the elections, adding that the Election Commission of Pakistan has created confusion by interfering in the governmental matters.
