No one should express opinion on exemplary civil-military relations, says Ch Nisar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has said that no one should express his opinion on the exemplary civil-military relations.

Briefing the media about the National Action Plan after a meeting of the federal cabinet on Monday, he claimed that law and order has improved across the country, including in Karachi.

“There is peace in Peshawar while situation Quetta has improved. Crime has reduced by 70 percent in Karachi,” he said.

He said that hundreds of soldiers were playing the role of the third defense line. “We broke a big network of RAW around Karachi. There will soon be a breakthrough in Karachi.”

Ch Nisar said that they had achieved successes since the start of the National Action Plan. “Under the NAP, 68,000 arrests have so far been made. We paid attention to intelligence-based operations. Over 11,000 IBOs have been conducted since the launch of the Zarb-e-Azb operation,” he added.

He claimed that 1,114 terrorists have been killed during the last nine months.

The minister said that there were 61 banned outfits in the country. “The terrorists’ network have been eliminated in the country. It is a great success of the army,” he said.

Ch Nisar said that they had verified 140 million SIMs.

Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said that the National Action Plan is the strategy of national life.
