No warrant needed to take action against terrorists, says DG Rangers Sindh
KARACHI (92 News) – DG Rangers Sindh Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar has said that no warrant is needed to take action against terrorists.
Addressing a seminar at Expo Center on Saturday, he said that they were taking action against criminals and their facilitators.
“The operation will continue till the last terrorist is eliminated,” he said.
The DG Rangers Sindh said that traders had worked even during tough times.
He said that they would provide complete security in the CPEC project. “The Rangers have been granted powers for the operation against terrorists. Action is being taken against criminals and facilitators,” he said.
Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar said that they arrested and handed over 6,800 accused to the police during three years. “We also provide evidence. The police have presented the challans of 6,000 cases.”
He said that 855 target killers had been arrested, while 70 percent terrorists had been killed.
