Nov 2 protest: Ch Nisar, Imran Khan exchange text messages
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has contacted PTI chairman Imran Khan with regard the November 2 protest.
Sources said that the contact between them was made through text messages.
Ch Nisar said that the PTI should fulfill legal requirements with regard to the November 2 protest.
“The PTI should seek permission from the Islamabad administration. Imran Khan should select the venue as well as take responsibility of law and order. The protest without permission will be considered illegal,” he said.
Imran Khan replied to Ch Nisar that protest was their democratic right. “The steps taken by Nawaz Sharif have taken us to this position,” he said.
He said that the government would be responsible if it arrested him or workers.
The Interior Ministry spokesman said that he had no knowledge of contacts between Ch Nisar and Imran Khan.
The sources claimed that the contact between both dignitaries will continue in coming days.
