OGRA seeks Rs 6.19 per liter hike in price of petrol, other products from June 1

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Ministry, seeking up to Rs 13.25 per liter increase in prices of petroleum products from June 1.

According to sources, the OGRA sought a raise in price of petrol by Rs 6.19, High-Speed diesel by Rs 7.91, High Octane by Rs 13.25, Light Diesel Rs 7.62 and Kerosene Oil by Rs 6.53 per liter.

The OGRA has also suggested the government to maintain the prices by reducing petroleum levy. Final decision on the summary will be taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
