Opposition backtracked from ToR committee: Pervaiz Rashid

LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said that the government was ready for dialogues but the opposition has filed references against the government in the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Following the deadlock on Terms of Reference (ToRs) to probe into Panama leaks, the government has decided to declare opposition responsible and conclude the matter.

He called for across the board accountability, adding that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and former president Asif Zardari would also be held accountable for offshore companies and Sar-e-Mahal.

The minister said that the opposition backtracked from the committee formed to formulate the ToRs to probe into Panama Leaks.
