Panama Leaks apology proved our truthfulness, says PM Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the apology tendered by Panama Leaks had proved their truthfulness.
Addressing the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he said that the Panama Leaks had admitted that it published his name erroneously.
Criticizing Imran Khan, he said that some political opponents hamper the country’s progress. “We have introduced new standards of transparency in development projects,” he said.
He said that the government would overcome energy and gas crises during its tenure.
The prime minister said that the opponents think that completion of such projects will wipe them out in the general elections 2018, adding that all international institutions are acknowledging economic turnaround of Pakistan
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar briefed the participants regarding budget and constitution of inquiry commission to probe into Panama Leaks.
