Opp’s Rahbar Committee announces to open roads in different areas
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Rahbar Committee of the Opposition announced to open roads in different areas of the country.
Talking to the media after the meeting at Durrani House on Tuesday, Rahbar Committee chairman Akram Durrani said that the opposition would go to the Election Commission of Pakistan for early hearing of the foreign funding case. “The PM speech was depicting his nervousness,” he said.
He said that the workers would open all roads from today and protest meetings will be held at the district level.
“The Rahbar Committee has proposed to convene an all parties conference (APC). We ask Maulana Fazlur Rehman to fix a date for the proposed APC,” he said.
The opposition leaders also discussed Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s meetings with Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi and future strategy.
PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, PPP’s Farhatullah Babar, ANP’s Mian Iftikhar, Tahir Bizanjo and Hashim Babar attended the meeting.
