Received orders to kill Imran Farooq from London: Accused Khalid Shamim

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Khalid Shamim, suspect involved in the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq’s murder who was arrested near the Chaman area of Balochistan last week and has revealed that the orders regarding the killing were received directly from London.

As per reports, the suspect revealed during investigations by the intelligence agencies said that his partner Muazzam Ali’s BlackBerry was gotten rid of as per directions.

Khalid Shamim and Muazzam Ali are involved in the killing of MQM leader Imran Farooq and were arrested last week near the Chaman border with Afghanistan. They were transferred to Islamabad where they are being investigated by intelligence agencies.

MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq was killed outside his house in London on September 16, 2010.
