Overseas Pakistanis always played a frontline in steering country out of crisis: Firdous
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says that Overseas Pakistanis have always played a frontline role in steering the country out of crisis.
Talking to the media on Satuday, she said that coronavirus had affected a large number people around the world and causing damage to the global economy. “Pakistan is also one of the nations confronting the same challenge.”
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the government would make an account in the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for those Overseas Pakistanis who remit foreign currencies to their homeland.
She urged the patriotic Overseas Pakistanis to come forward and support in reviving the country’s economy.
