ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The policy level dialogues between Pakistan and International Monetary Fund (IMF) will begin today (Monday).

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Privatization Commission Chairman Muhammad Zubair will attend the meeting. Pakistan has ensured IMF of privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Steel Mills.

Privatization Commission Chairman Muhammad Zubair said that Pakistan can easily privatize PIA and Steel Mill.

On the other hand, the opposition parties are opposing the privatization and the process to privatize has delayed due to the opposition of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
