Pakistan, Azerbaijan agree to support each other on Kashmir, Nagorno-Karabakh issues
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Sunday.
According to a press release, they expressed satisfaction on the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interests.
Appreciating mutual support on the political causes of the two countries, the two leaders agreed to work together to seek the resolution of Nogorno Karabakh conflict and Jammu & Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.
Recalling the recent visit of President of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, they agreed that signing of Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership has set a new direction for promoting multi-dimensional bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Pakistan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman Qaiser and Azerbaijan Ambassador to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov were also present in the meeting.
