Pakistan braves hottest day of year

KARACHI (92 News) – Several cities and towns of the country faced the hottest day of the year on Wednesday.

Larkana sizzled at 52°C. The highest temperature recorded in Lahore was 46°C, Sukkur 50°C and Hyderabad 49°C.

The sweltering weather coupled with long power shutdown made the life of people miserable.


Dozens of people hit by gastroenteritis and heatstroke reached hospitals.
