Pakistan Day celebrated in UAE, China
DUBAI/BEIJING (92 News) – Pakistan Day was celebrated in a prestigious and befitting manner at the Embassies of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and Beijing.
The flag hoisting ceremonies began with recitation from the Holy Quran. Pakistan’s Ambassador to UAE Moazzam Ahmed Khan hoisted the flag at the embassy in Abu Dhabi, while Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khalid hoisted the green and white flag in Beijing, the national anthem was played.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khalid read out the messages of President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The students of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing attired in colorful Pakistani dresses presented national songs with enthusiasm and national spirit. The Ambassador also distributed sweets among the children.
All officers and staff of the mission along with their families, students and a large number of Pakistanis living in the Chinese capital attended the ceremony.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s Ambassador to UAE Moazzam Ahmed Khan recalled the struggle of Muslims of subcontinent for a separate state and also paid tribute to the sacrifices made for the independence of Muslims of the subcontinent.
