Pakistan denies IS’s presence on its territory
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Secretary Foreign Affairs Aizaz Chaudhry has on Sunday ruled out the possibility of presence of the terrorist out-fit Islamic State (IS) in the country.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Sunday, Aizaz Chaudhry said that no one will be allowed in the country to have link with Daesh, adding that the Pakistan’s position is clear in this regard that it is a terrorist organization and it doesn’t exist in Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan is fully capable to thwart any threat of Islamic State or any other extremist organization.
The Foreign Secretary said that Pakistan is winning the war against terror with full support of the nation.
Commenting on the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif’s visit to the US, he said that the visit aimed at promoting Pak-US military relations.
