Pakistan flags again waved in Srinagar; Yasin Malik, 10 court arrest
SRINAGAR – Pakistan flags was waved during an anti-India rally in Srinagar, while JKLF chairman Yasin Malik and his 10 supporters courted themselves arrest on Friday, reported 92 News.
The protesters led by Yasin Malik marched from Maisuma to Budshah Chowk under the ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation. They raised the Pakistan flag and chanted the slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.
The protesters dispersed peacefully after Yasin Malik and others courted themselves arrest.
Earlier, Yasin Malik had announced ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation during a press conference after his public contact campaign was foiled.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat Conference chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah was arrested after hundreds of his supporters waved Pakistani flags in a rally in IHK’s Islamabad on Friday.
When Shah reached to address a public meeting in Lal Chowk area, thousands of people raised pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans.
He was accompanied by Bashir Ahmad and Maulana Muhammad Abdullah Tari.
A spokesman for Hurriyat Conference said that Shabbir Shah was arrested near Khanabal on his way back to Srinagar.
He added that Tari and Bashir were arrested near Sangam.
