Pakistan fully prepared for ICC World T20, says Shahid Afridi

KOLKATA (92 News) – Pakistan Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi has on Sunday said that the team is fully prepared for the mega event ICC World T20.

Addressing a press conference in Kolkata on Sunday, Shahid Afridi said that the players were mentally prepared for the visit to Indian for the mega event.

He said that Pakistan’s track record in Kolkata is good, adding that they have pressure but still it’s cricket.

The national team practiced for warm-up match with the Ireland at Eden Garden stadium.

On the other hand, all-rounder Shoaib Malik said that he doesn’t have problem playing on a certain number, adding that they have to perform well in the ICC World T20.

The national team will play the only warm-up match against Sri Lanka on Monday before formally launching their world cup campaign on March 16 against the qualifier (Bangladesh or Oman).
