Pakistan goes into one-day mourning after Charsadda terror attack
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – One-day state mourning is being observed today (Thursday) to show solidarity with the victims of yesterday’s terror attack, which led to an outpouring of national grief.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had announced one-day mourning today (Thursday) following yesterday’s terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda which killed at least 20 people and injuring 11 others.
The national flag will be flown at half-mast on all the government buildings.
Balochistan government has announced one-day mourning in the province over the tragedy.
Special prayer will be held in all the educational institutions for the martyrs.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have announced three-day mourning in the province over the Charsadda tragedy.
