Pakistan to hand over 147 fishermen to India
LAHORE (92 News) – Around 147 Indian fishermen released by Pakistan yesterday will be handed over to Indian authorities at Wahga Border on Monday (today).
According to police, the fishermen were arrested for fishing illegally within the marine border limits of Pakistan and have completed their prison term.
On Sunday, Pakistan had released 147 Indian fishermen from Malir Jail in Karachi as a goodwill gesture.
According to police sources, the fishermen will be taken to Lahore by train from where they will be handed over to the Indian authorities at Wahga Border tomorrow.
