Pakistan, IMF dialogues successful, says Ishaq Dar
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that their dialogues with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been successful.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that improvement in country’s economy is a good omen. “Economy is improving despite the energy crisis and other problems.”
Ishaq Dar said that they were determined to end the energy crisis.
He said that a fair chunk of amount is being spent to wipe out terrorism.
He claimed that the World Bank had admitted improvement in economy.
The minister said that they would continue the journey of economic progress in the next three years.
He said that 4.9 million families are being supported under the Income Support Programme.
He said that they were trying their best to stabilize the prices of POL products.
