Pakistan, India should reduce tension: White House

WASHINGTON (92 News) – White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest has said that Pakistan and India should work together to reduce tension.

In a statement, he said the United States encourages Pakistan and India to act with maximum restraint and work together to reduce tension in the region.

He said de-escalating the tension between these two countries is a priority of the United States.

Earnest said that improvement in bilateral relations between Pakistan and India could greatly enhance prospects for lasting peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
