Pakistan Navy seizes huge quantity of ‘hashish’, heroin during IBO
KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Navy conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near Sonehra Point at Mubarik Village in coordination with Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) seized approximately 675kg of ‘hashish’ and 4kg heroin worth approx Rs300 million which was being transported through sea.
The contrabands have subsequently been handed over to the ANF for disposal.
The successful execution of the operation against narcotics’ smuggling is the result of effective monitoring/ surveillance and demonstrates Pakistan Navy’s perseverance to deter, disrupt and deny use of our sea/ coastline for any unlawful activities.
Pakistan Navy spokesman said that they will continue to fulfill its national responsibilities with highest level of commitment and dedication.
