Pakistan Railways announces 33pc cut in fares on Eid
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Railways ha s announced a 33 percent reduction in the fares for two days on Eidul Fitr.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Friday.
A press release issued by the PR stated that under the package, five special trains will be run from June 23 to 28. In addition to special trains, additional coaches will also be added to existing trains for the convenience of passengers.
The first special train will leave Karachi for Peshawar on June 23 while the second train will leave Quetta for Rawalpindi next day. The third train will leave Karachi for Lahore and two special trains will be run between Rawalpindi and Multan.
