Pakistan ready to face any internal and external challenges: COAS

RISALPUR (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has on Thursday said that Pakistan is ready to deal with any internal and external challenges at any times.

Addressing the passing-out cadets at PAF Academy in Risalpur on Thursday, COAS Gen Raheel Sharif said that Pakistan is a responsible country and remains committed to follow the policy of friendship with all other countries on the basis of mutual respect and equality, however, the armed forces are fully prepared to give the most befitting response to any internal and external threat posed to our nation.

He said that Pakistan is a responsible country, adding that Pakistan desires good relations with the neighboring countries but ready to give befitting response to any aggression.

The COAS said: “India is committing human rights violation in Kashmir and also violating ceasefire agreement and the international community should take notice of Indian brutalities.”

Gen Raheel Sharif appreciated Pakistan Air Force’s key role in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, adding that the armed forces will not let the enemy’s intentions succeed at any cost and terrorists and their facilitators will be eliminated.

“Armed forces have achieved major successes by eliminating the enemy’s network in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb,” he added.

The COAS further congratulated the passed out cadets and their parents.
