Pakistan set victory target of 339 runs for India
OVAL (92 News) – Pakistan has set victory target of 339 runs for India at Oval in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday.
Mohammad Hafeez slammed his 32nd fifty as Pakistan ended up on 338/4 in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final against India. Hafeez’s good work complimented the earlier knocks from Fakhar Zaman, who slammed his maiden hundred and a gritty 59 from Azhar Ali.
Fakhar Zaman has made sure Pakistan don’t bog down after Azhar Ali’s dismissal. He has tonked Ashwin and Jadeja to all parts of the ground at will since Azhar’s wicket. Fakhar has made his maiden international hundred.
Pakistan have not taken a step back even after losing a wicket today and that has helped them a great deal.
A total of 128 One-day Internationals have so far been played between the two countries. Pakistan won 72 matches, while India got victory 52 times. Four matches concluded without any result.
Pakistan have qualified for the final of the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time, while India won two titles of the tournament.
