Pakistan strongly condemns terrorist attack at Istanbul Airport
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – “It is with deep anguish and pain that we have learnt about the terrorist attack at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul,” said a press release issued by the Foreign Office.
Reports indicate multiple explosions and gunfire, resulting in the loss of over 35 precious lives. There are also reports of more than 140 injured. We condemn this mindless act of terrorism in the strongest possible terms.
“We offer our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and to the brotherly people and government of Turkey. We also pray for the speediest and fullest recovery of those wounded in this despicable attack,” the release added.
Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all forms and manifestations. “Like always, we stand in strong solidarity with the fraternal people of Turkey in their fight against terrorism. There is no doubt that this scourge would be decisively defeated with Turkey’s iron will and unshakeable resolve,” it said.
