Pakistan suffered loss in war against terrorism: FO
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has on Friday said that yesterday’s National Security Committee’s meeting vivifies Pakistan’s stance on the US policy.
Addressing weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Friday, he reiterated that Pakistan’s stance that no other country has as much stake in a peaceful and stable Afghanistan as Pakistan has.
Nafees Zakaria said that Pakistan’s immense sacrifices and contribution in global counter-terrorism efforts have been internationally acknowledged.
The spokesman said that Pakistan remains committed to peace and stability in Afghanistan through an Afghan led and Afghan owned process.
He said that Pakistan has clearly mentioned that India cannot be a net security provider in the South Asian region when it has conflictual relationships with all its neighbors and is pursuing a policy of destabilizing Pakistan.
