Pakistan unveils Indian lies in front of world

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan unveiled the Indian lies in front of world after arranging the visit of the diplomatic corps to the site of recent Indian ceasefire violations which resulted in the martyrdom of five innocent civilians on the Pakistani side and injuries to six others.

At his weekly news briefing on Wednesday, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said Pakistan had requested the Indian high commission (HC) in Islamabad to share the details of the alleged locations to back their allegations. He said no response has so far been received from the Indian HC.

He further termed that Indian lies has been surfaced after the visit of entire diplomatic corps alon the LoC. “Indian claims based on lies have been exposed in presence of international media,” he added.

Pakistan, India likely to sign agreement of Kartarpur Corridor

The FO spokesperson said that Pakistan and India are likely to sign an agreement pertaining to the opening of Kartarpur corridor. “It is our effort to get the agreement signed tomorrow,” he said.

The spokesperson said a mechanism has been evolved for the visits of Yatrees to Gurdawara Darbar Sahib. He said the Yatrees will come in the morning and go back in the evening. He said full details of the Kartarpur operationalization agreement will be shared after its signing.

He also said each visiting Yatrees will have to pay 20 dollars service charges.

FO calls upon P-5 countries to ask India to provide information

“We have noticed that anti-Pakistan tirade of BJP leadership is continuing as the electoral process in the Indian states of Haryana and Maharashtra advances,” the spokesperson added. He said Pakistan categorically rejects the Indian allegations and threats as well as distortion of history and facts.

The FO spokesperson once again strongly rejected the claims of Indian army chief about the so called launchpads targeted by India along the line of control. He called upon the P-5 countries to ask India to provide information about the so called alleged launch pads.

Pakistan’s position on Kashmir is very clear, unchanged

“Pakistan does not harbor aggressive designs but our armed forces and the people remain ready to defend the country against any act of aggression,” he said.

The spokesperson said Pakistan’s position on festering Kashmir is very clear and unchanged. He said the resolution of this dispute lies in the aspirations of Kashmiri people as per the UN Security Council resolutions.

Condemning Indian blatant human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, the spokesperson said the humanitarian nightmare in the held valley is worsening with continued military lockdown and complete communications blockade.

He said eight million people in occupied Kashmir remain cut off from the rest of the world. He said these inhumane and unilateral actions by India are continuing in spite of international condemnation.

To a question about Malaysian President Mahathir Mohamed stance on Kashmir issue, he said Pakistan is proud of its Malaysian brothers and sisters.

When asked about Indian water aggression, the spokesperson said Pakistan will fight its case at an appropriate forum its rights under the Indus Water Treaty were challenged.

To a question about the upcoming Afghan talks in Moscow, the spokesperson said Pakistan will attend the talks and it will be represented by the additional secretary for Afghanistan and the West Asia. He said Pakistan had participated in the first round of four party talks in Beijing in July this year.

He said Pakistan has been part of all efforts and processes to facilitate the peace and reconciliation efforts in Afghanistan.  He said Pakistan will continue its efforts as part of shared responsibility to make international peace efforts successful in Afghanistan.

Hong Kong is an internal matter of China

To a question, the spokesperson reiterated that affairs of Hong Kong is an internal matter of China. He said Pakistan is committed to one China policy. He said Pakistan believes the measures taken by China and Hong Kong are aimed at safeguarding national sovereignty and Hong Kong’s stability and prosperity.
