Pakistan wants good relations with India, says Ahsan Iqbal

LAHORE (92 News) – Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has on Friday said that Pakistan wants good relations with India based on equality.

Addressing a ceremony at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Lahore on Friday, Ahsan Iqbal said that peace is necessary for Pakistan’s economic progress, adding that we wanted good relations with all our neighbours including India and Afghanistan.

He said that no secret meeting was held between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, adding that some Pakistani politicians have become spokesman for Indian media.
