ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has on Monday said that Pakistan will look for another source if the US did not provide the F-16s.

Talking to media, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism would be undermined by denying the sale of F-16s, adding that F-16 fighter jets have successfully been used in Zarb-e-Azb operation.

He said that Pakistan is carrying out operation against all terror networks without any discrimination.

The defense minister said that the US-Pakistan relation has witnessed ups and down but on the whole we have good relations with Washington. “The Obama administration has supported supply of F-16 to Pakistan but the Congress is opposing it,” he added.

“Pakistan supports Afghan led and Afghan owned peace process for durable peace in the region.”
