Pakistan will never allow any country to cross its boundaries: IG FC

CHAMAN (92 News) –Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan Inspector General (IG) Major General Nadeem Ahmed said Sunday that territorial integrity of the country will be ensured at all costs.

Addressing a press conference in Chaman on Sunday, he said that Pakistan will never allow any country to cross its territorial boundaries.

The IG FC said that Afghan border forces tried to interfere in the census drive in the border areas on last Thursday and opened fire on FC personnel deputed on the census duty.

He said that the Pakistani Forces retaliated and targeted those afghan posts from where fire was opened.

Maj Gen Nadeem Ahmed went on to say that about five Afghan posts were destroyed and more than 50 afghan security personnel were killed in the incident.


“No one is happy over the loss of lives of Afghan forces as they are our Muslim brethren,” he added.

The IG FC said that Afghan forces used the Pakistani Nationals as human shield and targeted the innocent children.

Maj Gen Nadeem Ahmed Afghan authorities were informed about the census process, however, its forces created hurdles in the process and targeted the civilian population.
