Pakistan will produce surplus electricity in 2018, says Abid Sher Ali

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has on Friday said that the loadshedding will be eliminated from the country until 2018.

Addressing the National Assembly session in Islamabad on Friday, Abid Sher Ali said that 14500 megawatt electricity was being produced when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) came to power but 17000 megawatt electricity is being produced now.

He said that not only the loadshedding will be eliminated in 2018 but Pakistan will produce extra electricity.


Federal Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan would be able to produce 25000 megawatt electricity in 2018.
