Pakistan will respond if KSA faces danger, says COAS Gen Raheel Sharif
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has on Sunday said that any threat to Saudi Arabia’s territorial integrity would evoke a strong response from Pakistan.
Saudi Defense Minister Prince Muhammad Bin Salman called on COAS Gen Raheel Sharif at GHQ and discussed matters relating to regional security and defense cooperation.
During the meeting, COAS Gen Raheel Sharif said that Pakistan enjoys close and brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and attaches great importance to their security. “Pakistan holds its defense ties with Saudi Arabia in highest esteem,” he said.
Meanwhile, Saudi Defense Minister said that Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to Pakistan and its armed forces and appreciates their successes in fight against terrorism and efforts for regional stability.
He said that Saudi Arabia fully support Pakistan’s position on all matters.
