ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has on Tuesday said that neither Saudi Arabi asked for Pakistan’s ground forces for 34-nation military alliance nor we would send our forces as sending forces to any country is not Pakistan’s foreign policy.

Briefing in-camera meeting of the National Assembly standing committee on foreign affairs held in Islamabad on Tuesday with its chairman Awais Khan Leghari in the chair, Sartaj Aziz said that sending forces to any country is not Pakistan’s foreign policy and Pakistan will not send its ground forces in any country under Pakistan-Saudi Arabian alliance, however, Pakistan will take part in intelligence sharing and provision of weapons.

He said that Pakistan would play its role in recent tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran, while keeping its national interests and people’s aspirations in view.
