Pakistan’s nuclear assets are for self-defense, says Nafees Zakaria

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria has on Thursday said that Pakistan’s nuclear assets are defense purpose.

Addressing the weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Nafees Zakaria said that Pakistan has condemned terrorists attack in Afghanistan, adding that the violence can be eradicated from Afghanistan through political process.

He said that Pakistan regret Indian blame game on Pathankot terror attack, adding that the cooperation and understanding is need of the hour to take the investigation into Pathankot incident forward.


The spokesman said that Joint Investigation Team has been formed and modalities are being worked out for its visit to India. “Pakistan has denounced terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and believes all nations need to collaborate with each other to defeat this menace,” he said.
