Panama Leaks: PTI considers countrywide long march against government
LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is considering launching a countrywide long march against the government over Panama Leaks.
The proposal was floated during a high-level meeting presided over by PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen on Monday.
The committee proposed different routes for the long march from one city to another in the first phase.
The committee members suggested that the movement should be started by launching a long march from Peshawar to Rawalpindi.
Later, the long marches should be launched from Sukkur to Multan and from Rawalpindi to Lahore. It was proposed to start the final round after the long marches.
The committee also suggested convening workers’ conventions in all the four provinces before the long marches.
It also proposed to take opposition parties into confidence before the final announcement.
