Panama Papers’ Probe: Opposition calls meeting next week
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As the Parliamentary Committee failed to break the deadlock which persists over Terms of Reference (ToRs), the grand opposition has on Thursday called for a meeting next week to form future strategy.
The deadlock between the government and the opposition over Terms of Reference (ToRs) doesn’t seem to be ending soon after which the opposition parties have called a joint meeting to discuss their future course-of-action.
The meeting will be attended by Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq and others.
Sources said that the representatives of all the parties will hold consultations with their respective party leadership before the joint meeting of the opposition after which the meeting will decide whether to continue dialogues with the government or to boycott the participation in the Parliamentary Committee.
