Panamagate Case: More evidence of London flats ownership submitted in SC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday submitted more evidence regarding the ownership of London flats in the Supreme Court.

A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa resumed hearing of the case.

During the proceedings, Salman Akram Raja, the counsel of Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz submitted more evidence relating the ownership of London flats in the Supreme Court.

Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh remarked that those documents were for the directors but the question is who was the director of Nelson and Nescol.

Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh asked Salman Akram Raja to prove Hussain Nawaz was running the companies.

Justice Ijaz Afzal remarked that Hussain Nawaz didn’t have the investment for properties in the posh areas then how bought those properties to which Salman Akram Raja said that Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz got these properties from Qatari investment.


Justice Asif Saeed Khosa asked the counsel of prime minister’s children if it was their strategy not to present documents to which Salman Akram Raja said that they do not have any strategy like this.

Juatice Ijaz Afzal said that if this is not a strategy then this is a gamble. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa remarked that the gamble is more than a strategy.

The court adjourned the hearing.
