Passenger who pretending to be FIA officer harasses, abuses bus hostess
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A passenger – pretending to be an officer of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) – was offloaded from the bus at Islamabad-Lahore motorway after harassing and abusing bus hostess.
In the viral video, the passenger harassed a bus hostess and threatened her of grave consequences over serving him water late. However, in the video, bus hostess can be seen weeping after being harassed by the passenger.
The incident took place in a bus on motorway; that the bus was leaving for Lahore from Islamabad. The video was shared on social media yesterday night and it went viral as soon as it was up loaded.
The passenger, who claimed to be a FIA officer, abused the bus hostess and threatened her before all the passengers. He said that he would offload her from the bus and would arrest her.
Meanwhile, other passengers tired to resolve the matter but the passenger continued misbehaving with the bus hostess. When the hostess started to weep, other passengers held a protest in favour of hostess against the passenger.
Later, on the complaint of other passengers, the FIA officer claimer has to offload from the bus at motorway.
Last year, on June 20, Umer Daraz, a man accused of killing a bus hostess in Faisalabad city of Punjab province had confessed to sexually harassing and murdering the young woman for refusing his marriage proposal.
“She refused my marriage proposal so I killed her… I can only say sorry to her family,” the accused had told media.
Police have arrested the alleged murderer of an 18-year-old bus hostess from a Punjab city. According to the first information report (FIR) registered at the Sargodha Road police station, Mehwish Arshad was employed at a bus company.
The accused, Umer Daraz, a security guard employed at the same company that the deceased previously worked at, wished to marry her, but she rejected the proposal, following which he shot her to death publicly five days ago.
According to reports, the suspect is currently in custody and is being interrogated.
