PAT holds Tehreek-e-Qisas rallies in different cities
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) held Qisas rallies in different cities.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said that there is need to break the alliance between the government and terrorism.
He vowed to continue struggle till justice against those responsible and involved in the Model Town tragedy.
The PAT chief said that the issues cannot be resolved by sitting in home, adding that the people will have come out of their houses.
The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) had announced to stage demonstrations and sit-ins in 140 cities from August 20 and 30 under the Tehreek-e-Qisas. This was decided in an emergent meeting of PAT Central Core Committee presided over chief Dr Tahirul Qadri at Central Secretariat on Tuesday.
On August 20, protest was staged in 77 cities including Lahore, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Hyderabad and Larkana.
On August 21, sit-ins was staged in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin and Gujrat.
On August 25, demonstrations will be taken out in 11 cities including DG Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur and Muzaffargarh. On August 27, protest will be held in Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Bahawalnagar and Rahimyar Khan.
On August 28, PAT workers will staged sit-ins in Rawalpindi, Quetta, Karachi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock and Haripur.
Dr Tahirul Qadri will announce the second phase of the Tehreek-e-Qisas and Solidarity on August 30.
