PAT sit-in continues on the Mall Road
LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) sit-in staged on the completion of two years of the Model Town tragedy is continuing on the Mall Road.
A large number of PAT workers, including women, are present in the sit-in.
PAT chief Allama Tahirul Qadri has also reached the sit-in venue.
On his departure from his resident in Model Town, Dr Tahirul Qadri said that they had to stop cruelty and oppression.
Meanwhile, 92 News has received a copy of the speech of PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
The PAT chief will talk about the Model Town tragedy, the National Action Plan, government’s corruption, governance, economic situation and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He will also discuss the Torkham Border, Foreign Policy, loadshedding and terrorism in Punjab.
On the other hand, delegations of the several political and religious parties, including the MQM, the PPP, the PML-Q and the AML, are also participating in the sit-in.
The police have made foolproof security for the sit-in.
Earlier, the police brought four drones to cover the PAT sit-ins. However, the meeting administration did not allow the police to take the drone inside the sit-in venue.
The PAT demanded that other vehicles should be taken away from the container. It also insisted that the police should remain away from the venue.
