PAT workers, families of Model Town victims protest outside Civil Secretariat

LAHORE (92 News) – The workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and the heirs of the martyrs of Model Town tragedy have on Friday staged a protest demonstration in front of the Civil Secretariat in the provincial capital.

The workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and the heirs of the victims of Model Town tragedy reached Civil Secretariat to get the copies of report into the Model Town tragedy.

The protesters were carrying pictures of the martyrs of the Model Town Tragedy and banners and placards inscribing slogans against the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the provincial government.

The protesters chanted slogans against Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and the provincial government.

The agitating protesters said that the Home Secretary is bound to provide copies of the report following the orders of the Lahore High Court (LHC).


Speaking on the occasion, PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the lawlessness has spread in the province during the tenure of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.

He said that the victims of Model Town tragedy want justice and they will take the case to every forum.
