Pathankot attack: PM Nawaz Sharif forms six-member committee

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed a six-member committee to investigate allegations into the Pathankot incident.

The six-member committee comprising officials of police, IB, FIA, ISI and MI will investigate allegations regarding involvement of some individuals in Pathankot incident.

The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.


Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Military Intelligence (DGMO), Corps Commander Lahore, Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB), Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and other high level officials have attended the meeting and discussed matters pertaining to Pathankot incident.
