Patients suffer as YDA refuses to end protest
LAHORE (92 News) – Hundreds of patients continue to suffer at the hands of doctors as the Young Doctors Association (YDA) has on Tuesday refused to end their protest until their demands are met.
Hundreds of patients continue to suffer at the hands of doctors, as they are left unattended as the outpatient departments (OPDs) in all public hospitals are closed due to the protest of Young Doctors Association (YDA).
The patients demanded the government and YDA to settle down matters in order to end the suffering of poor people who travel long distances to reach hospitals for their check ups.
Earlier on Saturday in Sargodha, at least four patients, under treatment in emergency ward, died due to lack of in-time treatment. The ongoing protests of YDA are causing troubles to the patients and government must negotiate with young doctors in order to settle the issue without further delay.
