Peace in FATA is the priority, says JUI chief Fazlur Rehman
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Jamiat Ulema Islam chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the system imposed on tribes will not be accepted and efforts to establish peace in FATA will continue.
Addressing a meeting of tribal elders, he said that peace in FATA is the priority, adding that they would cooperate in establishing peace.
He said that the tribal people have sacrificed their lives for Islam and country.
JUI leaders, member national and provincial assemblies, Kurram Agency assembly, Mohammand Agency, North and South Waziristan, Mahsood Wazir tribes and others have attended the meeting.
The participants further demanded to resolve the problems of Internally Displaced People (IDPs).
