KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) stalwart Khursheed Shah on Tuesday agreed with former finance minister Asad Umar, saying that people will scream in coming time.

Speaking to the journalists in Islamabad, the PPP leader lashed out at the incumbent government for inflation in the country. “Asad Umar rightly said that the coming time will make force the people for screaming,” he categorically stated.

“The government proved their ministers as incompetent after ousting from their designations,” Shah said. “Today, people are screaming but the budget is yet to come and then, people will scream,” he added.

“This is the only government which made the amnesty scheme for the thieves. Now the people question it if the amnesty is only for the thieves.” He said that the incumbent government broke all the records of Pakistan for taking such huge amount of loans within a short span of time.

Khursheed further said that the government increased 300 per cent of the prices of medicines. He also claimed that this government has only one agenda of abusing others.

The PPP leader demanded the government to take the parliament into confidence over International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout package.

Khursheed Shah also rejected the terms and conditions imposed by IMF for loan adjustment and said that it will bring more inflation in the country. He said that the government has forgotten its promises as it is taking the nation towards poverty.
